    Anon College recruiting question

A bad recommendation from a club coach could definitely impact recruiting.

NCAA NCAA Eliminates National Letter of Intent Immediately

I would think they could still have a signing day celebration. Doesn't matter if they actually sign an NLI or something different.

Anon Do some regions actually score harder than others? Data analysis says no!

Yep! Minnesota had given out exactly one perfect 10 at level 10. And this is the state that produced Maggie, Olivia, Suni, Mya, Grace just to name a few.

Anon No room at the next level…

Level 7 and 8 is usually where a lot of girls quit or go high school or xcel. Odds are good that a spot will open up. I'd just wait it out.

Parents She did it, she's officially a Sooner!

Years and years of hard work, dedication, high highs and low lows and she saw her ultimate dream come true today. She signed her NLI and is officially a Sooner (still waiting on the official college acceptance). I feel like I've been part of CB forever so I just had to share this momentous...

    WAG HOPES

My kid was not originally on an accelerated path, it just sort of happened. She went from level 3 to level 10/Hopes in 4 years.

    WAG HOPES

My daughter started doing TOPS at about age 8 (never qualified for national testing). She started training for hopes when she was a level 10 at 10 years old. She never trained more than 24 hours per week. 30 hours at that age and level is ridiculous. If she is truly that talented she doesn't...

    WAG Worlds Team 2023

Congrats to all, especially Josc! I've been following and cheering for her since her HOPES days. So proud of her!

    Anon Repeating grades for gymnastics?

As a mom of a kid who is entering her 7th year as a level 10 I would not recommend doing this. There is already going to be years of wear and tear on their poor little bodies. And I feel like the schools will question why they repeated a grade as it is definitely not the norm in gymnastics.

They are sold in very limited quantities, hence the appeal. It's almost a status symbol to own one nowadays.
