What skills does your gym require gymnasts to have at each of the compulsory USAG WAG levels? (In other words, list things in Level 4 that they must have to move up to Level 5?)

I am from Australia, so we are a little different, but I thought I might answer anyway as many are interested in making comparisons between gymnastics in different parts of the world.

I wasnt sure if you meant to move up to that level or out of it, so I put to move up to it


To move up to Level 4
  1. Vault - Handspring flat back vault - over vault table with mats stacked to the same height as the table. Vault set between 1-5.
  2. Bars - 2 glide swings, cast to horizontal, squat on low bar jump to high bar, back hip circle, long hang pullover, tap swings, toe shoot or underswing dismount from high bar.
  3. Beam - Full handstand, 2 180 degree turns in a row on 1 foot, 135 degree split leap, 135 degree split jump
  4. Floor - Round off, cartwheel-cartwheel, back walkover, backward roll with straight arms to front support, 180 degree split leaps, full turn on 1 foot, jump full turn.
  5. Trampoline - back handspring on tramp, front tuck on tramp.
  6. Strength & Flex - 180 split leap on floor, 135 dregree split leap on beam, 135 degree split jump on beam.
  7. Dance - as above 180 degree split leap on floor, jump full turn, full turn on 1 foot.
  8. Other - nil
To move up to Level 5
  1. Vault - Frront handspring vault with table set between 2-5
  2. Bars - Glide kip, long hand kip, cast to 45 degree's above horizontal
  3. Beam - Handstand held 2 secs, cartwheel or walkover, full turn on 1 foot. Dance series with 2 (FIG) A value dance skills one with a 180 split (ie split leap, split jump, straddle jump, pike jump, wolf jump, tuck half). Front tuck dismount
  4. Floor - Round off back handspring, front handspring, back extention roll to handstand, A value leap thats not a spolit leap (either side leap, cat leap full)
  5. Trampoline - Back tucks
  6. Strength & Flex - 180 split leap on beam and floor
  7. Dance - 180 split leap on beam and floor, wolf jump on beam, side leap on floor also 180
  8. Other - Passed level 4
To move up to Level 6
  1. Vault - front handspring withh table on 4 or 5
  2. Bars - clear hip circle, kip connected to cast to 45 degree's above horizontal
  3. Beam - saulto dismount
  4. Floor - round off back handspring back tuc, front handspring front tuck
  5. Trampoline - Front asd back layouts
  6. Strength & Flex - 180 degree split leaps and jumps on floor and beam
  7. Dance - A value jump on floor (FIG code - wold 1/2, straddle jump, schuischunova etc)
  8. Other - Passed level 5
