Got there for the last half hour while they were working vault, and got to see DD do her first successful (modified) Yurchenko timer! She'd been balking on throwing the BHS part, but finally got the courage to try, and then did four in a row. She was so thrilled!
Anyway, she was so happy about THAT breakthrough that it wasn't until we were almost home that she mentioned having stuck 14 BHSs on the high beam . . .
Not bad for a kid who's only been back to tumbling and vault for a week after three weeks off for Sever's!
