Sorry to bore you all with my brag, but my kids have been coming home so excited lately...

Older dd (training 9) is thrilled that she did her full twisting tsuk the first night she tried it and she did her back tuck on the high-ish beam and bhs stepout, layout stepout on the low beam both by herself!

Little dd (training 5) came home saying she almost did her straight cast handstand by herself and that her kip is all but straight arms now. She also has her back walkover on the low beam now and can sometimes make her vault by herself.

Thanks for letting me brag!

PS In a non-gymnastics brag, my older dd finished 4th in the City Championships in the long jump, jumping 12 ft 3.25 in. (she's 11).

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
