One of my athletes whom is competing Level 3 this year I can tell has a lot of potential. She’s fearless and her picks up on things extremely quickly. My goal is to get her to level 5 next season. So I have to start teaching tucks on floor. I coach mainly through progressions and drills, I only spot once I know the athlete’s body understands how to do the skill. Although I’m new to coaching salto’s and don’t have a process yet for teaching these skills. So I was wondering if anyone has some drills to share with me on teaching shape, rotation, or takeoff into standing back tucks and as well drills for the same aspects in punch front tucks.
