We just put it on as a 'cream' by spreading a thin layer over her rub marks. It sets into a flexible layer. Dd wouldn't wear it under straps or grips as she was worried about slipping but the overnight wearing seems to have helped start the healing I've just got the information from the box here "paste interacts with wound exudate to form a moist wound environment that is supportive of the healing process by aiding autolytic debridement and allowing the non-traumatic removal of the dressing without damaging newly formed tissue." So I guess in plain speak it heals and protects. Its early days yet but at least she's more comfortable already Please let me know how you go with your daughters hands.Very interesting. I looked it up in amazon. Is it just "liquid bandaid"? Does it put a barrier between their hands and the bars (or whatever equipment)? You leave it on under grips and such?
