Minor fracture of the elbow a few weeks ago - no pins, no displacement, or anything truly terrible. She was given the option of no cast, but I insisted, as I know she wouldn't stay off it. Three weeks later, cast is off, and there is some soreness, which doctor said is expected. She's free to go back to tumbling when she has no discomfort across full range of motion. Didn't get a lot of clarity from the doctor on expectations/timelines for that. Found some good physical therapy/post cast exercises for mobility restoration, so I will have her follow that.

Just curious to hear other experiences for what to avoid or what to do. Obviously, we're not looking to rush it or push it (which is why we went for the cast instead of no cast), just tips on what was good or bad for others after the cast came off. I've already reminded her not to snatch up the backpack with that arm right away.
