My 11 year old just got some Golden Hand wrist supports to try before investing in Tiger Paws. She’s a scrawny bean and right on the line of XS and S. They have either foam or plastic inserts. The foam is a bit wider and she prefers the fit of the thin plastic. Is there a specific difference between the two materials? Obviously her coach will fit them for her, but I don’t want to keep bugging her before classes start again next week

You can use the foam or the foam + plastic. Adding the plastic makes them more stiff. None of the gymnasts on our team use the plastic.

The plastic is not meant to be used alone.

Thank you!
