When my daughter was a gymnast, we competed twice a year at Park Avenue Gymnastics in Cooper City. Not sure how convenient that is for you. The coaches there always seemed very nice :)
Just an FYI - when I asked about tryouts, it wasn't that I necessarily thought that's what they did (I've never really heard of tryouts either), but I truly didn't know the definition of "allowed to be a walk-on".
I know of a gymnast who had a commitment taken away, but then was recently told by that college that she'd be "allowed to walk-on".
The girl hasn't applied and been accepted to this college yet.
Does anyone know what this usually means?

During summer leading into level 4, my DD got mono. She was out of gym completely for 8 weeks. Lost the little bit of a kip she did have.
Came back 2 weeks before the 2nd meet. She managed get most skills back, but man the kip was ugly... Leading up to the meet, they did say she could be...
Forgive me if somebody already posted this… I am strictly on my phone and having trouble navigating.
Does anyone know if the American classic juniors will be livestreamed anywhere tomorrow?
