Isn't that what DP compulsory and lower level optionals are? If gyms follow the skill progression and incorporate conditioning/physical abilities shouldn't they be successful. I will say our gym does physical abilities type activities each practice and does actually score the girls...

Easterns last year was at a Nazareth college in Rochester, NY but hosted by RGA. During Covid there was a meet inside RGA but the annual meet they host is offsite.

It was in Rochester in 2022 but that isn't the plan for 2023 as far as I know.

Does anyone know where Level 9 Easterns or DP Nationals are supposed to be in 2023? I am surprised nothing has been announced yet. I feel like some gym has to know they are hosting.

I think part of the downturn in numbers could be due to COVID shutdowns over the last year and a half. I would think the girls training elite would be more impacted by any gap in training that could make it even harder to achieve elite/national team status.

Are you a gymnast or a parent? I would be concerned about who would secure the dog while you are competing if you are a gymnast?

I would call the ortho and see if you could get a replacement brace or inserts. They should be able to do that without another appointment, but most likely you would pay out of pocket. Get a quote and compare pricing.

Paid in full for March. No tuition for April, May, June. Summer training starting in July when the gym re-opened. We did have 2-4 zoom sessions per week during May and June but still no tuition.
