    Parents Snacks?

I found this link on gymnasts and eating it is from a gyms website but is helpful and also states they should be eating every 3 hours which would lead me to believe a small snack would be beneficial in a 4 hour workout! luckily my daugther is only 5 and her longest practice is 1 1/2 hours but I...

Yep that's us lol. too funny I love asking questions over there:) It is definately an amazing thing at any age. I'm glad she got it now though cuz I think the older they get the harder it is to get. Poor thing though she wanted to get it before she turned 5 but ended up 3 weeks after:-) She...

    helpful/constructive criticism?

Hi. I would definately focus on the positive, but I think its ok to gently remind them to stay tight, lets say if they do something even a simple cartwheel or walkover, she likes to show me stuff so that's when i gently say oh I can see your ears that makes her straighten her arms etc, or with...

Coaches Looking for "fun" bars activities for L1-L2 girls

Ok with my above post lol. I forgot to add you need to adapt this to bars, in my daughters class they sometimes hang with their knees like a table with a foam block on top, i would say whoever holds this the longest is the queen of the day, builds strength and makes is more "fun"! Becky

Coaches Looking for "fun" bars activities for L1-L2 girls

Hi, My daughter just turned 5 and one of the highlights of their workout is the handstand queen. they practice their handstands then at the end do a step kick handstand, whoever holds the longest is the queen and is the leader that class they LOVE this! Becky

Hi, I have a 4 1/2 year old and a 7 year old. the 7 year old is a Recreational gymnast who has recently taught herself a back hip circle and a backwalkover to keep up with little sister! I have been told they don't allow the little ones to compete till they are age 6 around here, so we have...
