The leap only has to be EVEN leg seperation and 90 deg that is not very big as long as her hips go up even legs she can do it just as well as bigger kids!

The USAG text states the the first step of the curved rn should be forward toward the corner and have the foot turned to the side If child is a rightie the steps would go right left r left leap....I am a judge and we take off in artisty for the curved run almost every gymnast! Check the text...

thamks we have a star chart maybe we will try notebooks next ... I also have 9-12 kids on four regular size beams so that is part of the problem...The owner won't make it smaller she says that is the reason she makes money lol

I have recently been working with a group of level fours( welll training fours) They are all missing atleast one or two skills and will not be FOurs untill they get all their skills. Here is my problem they seem to not be making changes when told... we can work on one skil For example levering...

They do not have to hit and hold a full HS in level four. I is a 3/4 HS so as long as her head is correct and she is levering in and out of the HS this should be ok.

because you don't get to lear your deductions at the meet this would be like to prepare you for meets...like for kids who are capable of scoring high 38's. In indiana state meet in many age brackets AA went to a 38+ AA score

the movement does not top and the chest does not drop.... to me the fhs to bhs looks more connected than then step out into bhs maybe it has to do with the 2 footed landing.

I used to work at a gym where girls did an front hand spring mount onto the beam connected by swinging the arms frome the ears down to the front of their body then back up again into a flic flac this gave them flight plus flight credit...would a step out fhs do the sme thing...fhs step out into...
