    Totally agree with this. If they don't figure out how to work through disappointments and struggles early, when they hit them later (and everyone has struggles at some point), then they may totally fall apart--because they never learned how to fail and how to get back up and try again.

    There was one year that one of the team girls couldn't stick a cartwheel on beam to save her life (old level 5). She finally did it at the last meet of the year--the way we all exploded in cheers in the audience, you would have thought she won the Olympics! She was all smiles too.

    Not all meets do scoring this way. Some just write scores on a big sheet of everyone in that rotation and it goes to the scoring table. Coaches never see it

    I'm wondering this too. If she qualified for State already--will the new gym take her now and allow her to compete? Doesn't sound like a safe environment at her current gym, with some of the other girls bullying her and interfering with her training and her coach doesn't sound supportive at all.

    HC decided Leo and warm ups. Booster club did spirit wear with final choices approved by same HC. I can't imagine giving parents a vote! Too many cooks and nothing gets done
