Hey, is it possible to move from Level 3 - Level 7 in the time span of 7 months? One of my friends just told me she moved up and not meaning to rain on her parade but i just really wanted to know if this can happen? She's 13 if that makes a difference; Again, not hating just simply curious...
I haven't been here in a while lol, I haven't been to gymnastics in a whole year and although I've missed it for some reason, recently I've just been dying to go back :(
I originally stopped just to have a break because I didn't really enjoy the environment and then high school junior year...
Hi, have any of you had experience with Precision Gymnastics, Rancho Cucamonga, California? I'm gonna be over there for a bit and wanted to check out some gymnastics while I'm at it. Are they good? :)
Is it weird that I actually prefer connecting tumbling passes on the floor rather than tumbl trak? Like I hate doing RO+BHS+BT or even just RO+BHS on our tumbl trak! I get too much bounce and go too high for my bhs. I like doing skills on tumbl trak...just not tumbling passes...But it's weird...
Hey guys! I've been in the gym for about a month now and recovery is coming pretty smooth. I'm recovering from a knee injury btw.
On beam I did walkovers, leaps, and full turns for the week basically...I know it's not much but its huge in my books!
On bars I did casting, push away kips and I...
So what, it doesn't portray gymnastics in the real way but I sure do enjoy it :)
Make it or Break it returns tomorrow night (March 26th) on ABC Family :)
I'm been off injury for 2 months and so far, so good! I'm doing a whole lot of conditioning, bars, a little bit of beam and a little bit of tumbl trak/floor! I still can't do turns really well though :\ Some back walkovers on beam and basics on floor. I know I need to take it slow but it's so...
I'm training level 6 and I was doing kip-pushaway-kip and we had to do atleast three in a row and I did them but I had some terrible pain in my groin area. I did some stretches but it kinda made it worse. That was on Monday, the pain's just about gone now though :)
PS: It feels great to be off...
I'm off my injury rest guys :) I can do bars without pain but I'm dying to do other things but it hurts to jump...Any tips on what else I can do without involving my knees being bent or pressured?
I went to my doctor yesterday and she was supposed to tell me I can go back to gymnastics...I haven't been to gymnastics since November 21st :( But now, I'm feeling pain where I shouldn't be and she wants another MRI so we can be sure my growth plate is healed up nicely and my meniscus is no...
I was going to upload this last weekend but didn't have a chance.
The weekend of Dec. 16-17 was amazing...why? It was the first ever Atlantis Crown Gymnastics Invitational. Why was it awesome?
More than 400 male & female gymnasts representing 16 states, The Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago...
Hi!
I'm kristy! I'm training level 6 and I live in the Bahamas. I love it here but I love going to train in the states as well.
I'm currently not in the gym due to a knee injury :(
But I'll be up and running in January! This site's really cool and I've seen some great advice!
Bye :)
So I was supposed to compete yesterday at the Atlantis Crown Invitational but was kept out due to my knee. I went there to support my teamates and well...it was a disaster. Their usual coach was not present due to personal reasons and she will have siamese cows when she sees these scores.
