Nice to have an open dialogue with the coach. I would stay, someone might drop out through the summer and Level 6 isn't that different. If she has a monster year at 6 she could skip 7 next year or part way through the year.
not much to be honest. Basics for each piece.
The list is here.

If they are learning anything more they will say a more qualified coach is supervising her. Which they may or may not be. In my experience most clubs...
If you are a BG club then the answer is yes but it's not straightforward.
A coach can only coach skills from the level they are qualified.
However if she has attended her level 2 course (minimum 17 years) but not passed it yet she can still coach the skills from that level in the gym but...
I agree with the above post. However it will only benefit her to try. Youtube has lots of cast handstand drills to do. There are some that can be done on a floor bar and there are strength drills that only need a floor or wall. If she can get to some kind of open gym to do casts on...
If at the end of the trial they decided she wasn't a good fit for the squad she is in they would likely offer her a lower squad at their gym. They won't want her to leave. I would just let her enjoy the new gym. If you leave your current gym on good terms you could like return if ever you...
The skills you mention are not high level for a 10 year old. What skills does she have on bars. I'm a judge and a coach in the UK. 10 is not too old to to be in a squad and do competitions and grades. What may hold her back is having to relearn skills learned incorrectly in rec. It's...
Those are some very good gyms involved. Some gyms will always go out of business but to see a healthy successful programme shut down is heart breaking. And it sounds like it is being done in a very underhand way.
If these sort of investment businesses sell up again quite soon you wonder...
not trying to be rude but 16 hours for level 3 is really very high for the skills on Level 3. That smacks of money making. Level 3 can easly be done very well on way less than that. And no kid that is Hopes age should be doing 32 hours. That's not an efficient gym.
Suggest a long sleeved leotard. One with mesh sleeves would be cooler and leave it at that. Say you will report any issues you see or hear directly to them. I am sure they are desperately grateful to have your support and knowledge but don't let it become your issue. You have done your...
I think you are doing the right thing. I think you should push your dd to work hard in the gym, listen, make corrections and be a good team mate. Be her best. At home you should 'push' her to have fun with her gymnastics. Goof around with friends making up silly routines if she...
not necessarily a year behind you can do 2 compulsory grades in one year if you want. However a lot of girls take 2 years to do compulsory 2. One or two years out of age is not a problem.
Dancing, Climbing and Diving are the most obvious. I have known older gymnasts go into fencing very successfully and also a variety of martial arts as they are well coordinated, strong, determined and competitive.
