Plum confuses me...it’s like the incredible adjustable leotard. We order axs but she is still rockin a couple of mediums and all her CL. I look at her in the axs and think maybe I should order AS for growing room...then she’ll go and wear a child medium then next dayo_O
Are we really thinking everything will go poof at the same time? I mean, AAU Gymnastics remained after they were decertified, right? Even if USAG was decertified by the USOC that doesn’t mean that USAG JO’s couldn’t continue at least for awhile, right?
I want to play :p
Press mount
front walkover
Switch leap
Split jump to some sort of jump turn thing
Full turn (trying to get the 1.5 consistent)
Backhandspring backhandspring series to backtuck or layout dismount.
Are we good?
My guess would because A Camp is a once year goal/achievement kind of thing for the TOPS program. DIC is it's own animal that happens multiple times a year and a gymnast can be a regular attendee if she is invited back over and over.
Congrats on 7 she must have been AMAZING! The evaluator was extremely difficult but he was difficult across the board so there is that. I heard him tell groups over and over again what they were looking forward, gave lots of of advice during warm ups and feedback while testing. Lower back...
It will definitely be interesting to see the results....I know Kim Riley posted that there were 450 kids testing this weekend. And I’m sure a lot of kids have already finished up testing...we did several weeks ago
@3gymnasts you ar correct that it would put her in the top half at midpoint. The midpoint last year was roughly the same number. Unfortunately, a lot of gyms don’t even test for the first time until after the midpoint so there are a TON of girls that don’t even have 1 score in the midpoint...
In regards to travel costs, I just want to point out that I priced a ticket for next May from LA to Indianapolis and from a locale in the southeast to Indianapolis and the cost was $20 higher for the southeast location...although it was a shorter trip by 10mins. Not to say I think it should be...
At our gym JO and Xcel gymnasts are equally valued. The xcel group is dramatically smaller and are often mixed in with JO levels during practice. Little Bit is what some would consider a kid on fast track (at least as far as our gym is concerned...perhaps not as much as some at other gyms)...
Does she have to do a straddle handstand? Ours does a great none straddle handstand and an ok straddle one....is it possible for her to do the non straddle?
