Thank you this really kind of makes me happy because she scores a 8.225 so would have possibly been a 9 ... she usually nails the bwo but sometimes she just completely misses the entire beam . I am just so proud of her for not letting it ruin the rest of her routine

I had to come back to let you all know she scored a 34.025 at the state meet . I know the meet she qualified was super generous and it almost felt like we cheated lol but after the state meet we can now say she did get the long sought after 34!!!!!

Happy to report that she qualified for states and got the mobility score at the last meet . Def some generous judges she ended up with 35.65 which was her highest AA ever and she even fell of the beam which she hasn’t done all season . She is super excited!!! Thanks for all the support!

Although I told her that you aren’t given too many second chances in life so she really has to make this count!! Not sure she understands the scope of what that means at 9 lol

I think we are Region 7 PA ... our coaches do seem great, I think they know how hard she works and it makes me feel good that they aren’t just going to give up on her!

It’s very disheartening each age division only like 1st and 2nd had a score of 34. My daughter will never be one of the best but she really loves the sport! I don’t understand why they are so harsh on the scoring at some of these meets!

Thank you! We have two weeks. I am going to take your advice and tell her to just have fun and as long as she does her best then I will be proud of her no matter what happens! I am going to be a nervous wreck however lol will need to try my best to hide that from her lol

Thank you, I really need to just buckle up and let this be her thing. I think in a way I am being selfish with my own feelings of this. I have to step back and be like this is her sport if she loves it and is happy then I just need to support her!
