7 year old daughter selected for elite group within squad - home equipment?

That Facebook group is awful! It's just a big competition about who has the most home equipment, who does the most hours and who spends the most money on leotards!!!

    Pre squad Q, please.

Why not give it a try and see how she enjoys it? My daughter was also 4 when she got picked out of the pre school class for the development squad. She started with 4 hrs a week aswell. At our gym there isn't large numbers that get invited onto the development squad, which I think is probably...

    High performance centres?

Thanks everyone. From the sounds of it, our gym is a middle ground one, we do have girls doing well at compulsory grades and going to nationals. It has good facilities and we're certainly happy here so far! Thanks again for answering my questions!

    High performance centres?

I saw a post on here the other day referring to high performance centres, and it made me wonder about them. Which gyms are HPCs? And what makes them one, coaches? Facilities? History of creating elites? And would a gymmie be invited to join one based on potential or would a smaller gym refer...

    Parents Splits

My dd is 5 and in a development squad, she's been advised to practice her splits at home. She loves gym and is happy to practice at home but we don't know exactly how to help her get her splits. She doesn't seem naturally flexible to me and is probably a couple of inches away from her splits...

    Leotard selling group on Facebook

I don't think it's anything to do with BG. It seems to have been set up by an individual person, she probably shouldn't be using their logo though!

    Star leotards?

My 6 yr old only does 1 hr a week of rec a week and her leos have still been as good as new when she's outgrown them! But my 4 yr old is doing 4 hrs in a development squad and I've...

Hi, An advert for Star leotards popped up on my Facebook the other day so I clicked to have a look. They seemed to have some reasonably priced leos, has anyone had one from their?
