Woah, you have an amazing financial set up for both tuition and privates as compared to us! Jealous! And the women coaches are not that strong at her level...
Wow! you either have VERY expensive privates as compared to where we are or very INEXPENSIVE monthly tuition if 2 hours is equivalent. My DD level 4 trains 13 hours per week right now and we could get approx. 8 lessons (Hour) lessons for what we pay for monthly tuition with the head of...
I guess I don't know for sure, but am assuming it's kind of an obscenity. D@mn effing kip? But maybe I just have a foul mouth! @Deleted member 18037 ?
This is EXACTLY me right now! I'm trying really hard not to let her know I'm worrying. She doesn't have a year. She's in uptraining mode now since our gym competes compulsory in the fall, but I think they will decide training groups fairly soon for summer. I definitely have hope she'll make it...
Thanks @jessifrostR ! I am definitely holding out hope! And I think you are right. They don't adjust the bars for the taller girls (right now dd is the only one) and I'm pretty sure that makes it tougher. She definitely doesn't get the momentum the little girls do. But she's used to almost...
My accomplished level 3 training to move up to 4 hasn't gotten hers yet. I keep hearing how close she is. I sure hope it comes soon for her. She says it is more difficult for her than for her tiny teammates since she's tall (4'10"). I love hearing about kids getting theirs - gives me hope!
Not sure if either are great, but my dd just finished her first comp season (level 3) and is super excited to be training level 4 skills.
Are either of these useful? We have a metal bar on the side of our play structure that is about the right height that she could use the kip trainer. And she...
whoa! You're throwing a whole new twist into the equation - she wears a smaller tank practice leo than comp! That's awesome that her arms and shoulders are so buff! Do you happen to know your dd torso meas? My rough meas. was 47" not knowing for sure how to do it.
This is definitely helpful! I think dd is still in the low to mid 70's for weight. I'm not sure how tall - I should measure! But under 5' I think. I'm leaning towards the AXS. :)
I was going to order my 10 yo a GK leo for xmas and am not sure on the sizing since we've never had a GK practice leo. Her comp leo is GK and an extremely close fit CL. I'm wondering if I should go up to a AS. Her much shorter teammate wears a CM comp and went up to a loose AXS. I don't want it...
