Yeah sorry, I was not clear. I mean the coach and I don't get along very well and so I was sort of coaching myself.

WAG Gym not a good fit but the only option. WWYD?

I moved to Indonesia and found a gym, but this gym is not a good fit for me for various reasons. I felt miserable at practice and even a little unsafe (the highest level they coach is level 4 and they have no floor and no mats under bars), so I stopped. After I stopped, I found out I might be...

    WAG P&Gs 2017!

Kim Zmeskal has a new leotard line, which the gymnasts were wearing (I think). It was a sort of showcasing or a preview?

    WAG P&Gs 2017!

Riley McCusker's floor is lovely, except her wrists! The dance and music are so nicely done but the bent wrists just aren't pretty... Anyone else agree? and does anybody know why Alyona Shchennikova was the only one to wear the same leo for Classic and P&Gs? Do elites always wear different leos?

    WAG What would you do?

There is two 30 to 45 minutes away but I'm not sure my mum would let me tumble on anything other than a spring floor. Thanks though! There's also a girl in my dance class at school who does gym. On the far days we can carpool if we both choose to go, but I might just do one day a week instead...

    WAG What would you do?

No idea, this is the only gym around though (other than international schools' gyms but they are for rec classes).

    WAG What would you do?

Update: Found a gym that has a group of level 6+ girls with a 12-15 age range. Training is pretty close on Wednesday but more than an hour away on Fridays and Saturdays. They train 3x per week. I might take a term off to play football or do musical theater (school starts tomorrow) but after...

    WAG What would you do?

Thanks everyone! We've contacted the Canadian gym and they said I could go straight into their T&T team if I wanted to (the girls/boys are my age or older generally), so I would like to try that. My mum's also found out that the hotel we're living in temporarily has fitness, conditioning and...

    WAG What would you do?

After a wonderful summer of gymnastics while visiting in Canada, my family moved to a different country again. There's no gymnastics programs here. After a year in this new country I plan to go back to Canada and live there. Should I go back to gymnastics then? I'd have had a full year off...

    WAG Gymnastics on holiday

Sorry forgot to write an update. It was really good! I got placed with the level 6s and I made some new friends. I also learnt how to climb a rope and got my straight chs and straddle chs, cartwheel back tuck dismount (though I whacked my head once, yikes) and layout flyaway. The rope climbing...

    WAG Gymnastics on holiday

First post! I'm old for my level (14 at NDP 6) and right now I'm on a 4 week trip. A gym in the area I'm staying is allowing me to train with them for my entire stay and tomorrow at my first training, the head coach is going to evaluate me to place me in a training group. Has anyone done a...
