Thanks @Jenny, so once gymnast qualifies for the British Championships do they then have to re-qualify again for future British Championships?

I’ve just noticed on social media accounts that a few gymnasts from the may 2022 compulsory 2 have mentioned that they have qualified for the 2023 British Championships. So the qualifiying criteria must have been recently announced. Can any clarify what the qualifying criteria is ?

@Jenny do you know what the qualifying criteria is for those that have recently passed compulsory 2 in May 2022 for British Championships ?

Just been told by coach that the pass mark for comp 2 is 53.5

Almost a week until compulsory 2 and the pass mark is still to be confirmed. Can anyone shed some light on this ?

So I’m assuming that Compulsory One is temporarily scrapped as the video routines make up 2021 - 2025

I’m not certain for sure that Compulsory One has been permanently scrapped. I recently logged into British Gymnasts online Academy recently to view the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Resources and noticed that Compulsory One content and videos are available.

I must have missed reading that bit in the technical update, gymnasts must have passed the relevant compulsory in order to compete at voluntaries. Does the pass mark for range and conditioning now apply across all compulsory grades and is all the new changes taking place this year ?

Does anyone know of any criteria for the gymnasts who are eligible to skip compulsory 3 and go straight to compulsory 2. For instance would a gymnast who is out of age and has not passed / competed compulsory 4 or compulsory 3 be able to progress to compulsory 2 ?

Are BG going to allow gymnasts who qualified for both Compulsory 4 & Voluntary 4 British finals ( Age Groups Championship ) to skip compulsory 3 and proceed to Compulsory 2 in Feb 2021 ?

They do update the handbook every now and then, the latest handbook is v1, so will wait and see :)

Hi I'm assuming ( according to the 2020 Womens Artistic National Competition Handbook ) the following is the latest pass mark's for Compulsory grades. Compulsory 5 = 55 Compulsory 4 = 52 Compulsory 3 = 52 Compulsory 2 = 55 Compulsory 1 = 57 Can someone please confirm if this is correct.
