Yeah, my son is 100% the same way, it was fine I did well.
I do get to watch online, so I then ask follow-up questions about skills and what he did.
Although this week (the first week after regionals) he has asked me if I saw this new skill and that new skill.
Giants aren’t so bad. My son had to learn them in less than 2 weeks. It took a little longer for reverse giants, but with a strap bar they will get it pretty quick, especially if the coach is thinking Future Stars.
155$ sounds like a dream at this point. For an in-house meet this year, we paid 500$. Yeah, we as parents flipped and the gym was like that's the way it is take it or leave it.
region 9 is having a competition. It is pretty open this year, no qualifying
Crossing the fingers on being able to see them perform in person. If we could just get the schedule of when the kids are competing.
I think it is just because there are a lot fewer men doing gymnastics, so we get fewer posts and issues. Also, as you will learn, men’s gymnastics isn’t the same cute throat crazy as women’s gymnastics, so we don’t post a ton of - but what about my hand placement for my BHS.

So with the decision to move Wintercup to Flo Gymnastics and signed up or know costs? It looks like we get to see all the Women’s on NBC channels, and the men’s up until the Elite group. So disappointed in this decision and frustrated.
