Can't wait to hear how it went! I am often a nervous wreck, too. I think I get more nervous before my children's meets and recitals than I did before my own concerts as a child! lol!
Thanks! Yeah, she has most of her 7 skills - even her routines. We're so glad to have that out of the way so she can just concentrate on 7 now. Bars needs a lot of work, so it's good she can get going on that now! lol!
Hey everyone! For some reason I couldn't post this video, so I'm just sharing the link here. Naomi had her level 6 move-up meet this weekend and got her score! Her scores were 9.0 on vault, 7.55 on bars, 9.175 on beam and 9.425 on floor. The video I'm sharing is her floor routine.

Thanks for the congrats and for including your youtube channel! I can't wait to watch some of the videos. I have a really hard time getting good vids of Joseph because he's usually so far away and I just have my little digital elf. I look forward to seeing how your son does this coming year...

I have to agree. Most of the popular magazines won't help either. I would keep those to a minimum or only buy those of a craft/nature/learning sort. If you are able to cut out more TV as I mentioned before, it will go a long way toward also cultivating a more healthy body image. These are...
If they are small, gradual changes here and there, they will be much less noticeable, and yes, they will benefit everyone. Start by eliminating soda. That ALONE will make a huge difference. Even if you don't eliminate it, only buy it for birthdays and holidays. Once everyone is used to the...
My son, Joseph completed his first season of competition last year. I was so proud of him for making it to state! I noticed as we were going through the year that girls gymnastics and boys gymnastics are very different. Coaches seem to take their time more with boys, so I was really suprised...
Finally got our results! Naomi is not going to TX, but she is did make it to the Silver level for 10 year olds. She is disappointed, but I'm proud of her. I have no idea what her overall score was. Does anyone know what the cutoff was?
We had a couple of people opt out of the training and then a couple more opt out of the testing. We're at a really good gym, but they don't concentrate on TOPs much, so our chances of anyone making it are usually pretty slim. We had one girl make the Diamond level as a 7 year old last year, so...
