I would go somewhere closer to you IMO your DD is young and you can get a good gym camp experience closer to home. What you are going to pay to travel/drive, stay in a hotel and eat every day you could pay a residential camp the same amount of $$$ think IGC or Woodward instead.

Yep! I know of a few Level 10s from a well known Elite gym who don't go backwards on beam. The requirement for L7 is flight. A round off can satisfy the requirement, so can an aerial. I think that's the beauty of Optional gymnastics. It doesn't have to be one skill fits all.

I think they can just do a FT (like in 5) I saw a lot of that. Does she have a B skill? That's why you see many FHS-FT because it's a B and they need a B.

Ok I am so confused about all the terminology. For example turns on beam 1/1 is that a full turn, how about if we are talking about tumbling? What's one and a half turns? What's 2/1? What's 1/2? Is this math, or shorthand?

Honestly, it wasn't great. I think 9.25 was generous. In JO Level 4/5 (which is about this skill level) it would be a mid 7 to low 8 depending on how nice the judges were feeling. You casts were low, your swings were pikey, your flyaway was low... To name a few... It's an ok XCel Gold...
