My coach makes us wear grips but I absolutely hate them especially when going to the high bar because I am always slipping (peeling) off so I was wondering if anyone knows why this happens and how do you chalk up your grips ?

I am having trouble with back handsprings on beam.. when i have a spot (which actaully isnt really even a spot my coach just has her hand on my back the whole time) I can get both my hand and land it perfectly but when I'm doing it by myself I can only get one hand on the beam. HELLP ?
