I'm new at this level how do you get started with hopes/tops. Is there a chance of a gymnast being recognized without being in tops or hopes. How do you deal with a gym when you express interest in those things but they are stuck on competing levels..

Typically in our gym many of the girls wear "crop tops" instead of leotards. Although leotards are of course still worn often. I was just wondering whether crop tops are allowed instead of leotards at your gym and whether leotards or crops tops are the preferred choice of attire for your gymnasts.
