A "Different" Take... 4 AA's

Surely with a team of only 4 they will have to change the alternate rules? I can't imagine having the same rules as now with as soon as preliminaries start they can't put alternates in. And I feel bad for the guys- all 6 events for all will be tough.

Only two can compete AA in the AA finals, so it really made no sense to have more than 3 go for it. This way they have more shots at medals.

And whichever US athlete qualified along with Simone has a very high chance at meddling in the AA. Aly, Gabby or Laurie all would have had a great chance. Competing 4 AA in Qualification would decrease the medal opportunities by denying Kocian a chance at a Bars medal.
