Till Level 5 states! This feels like one of the longest seasons ever, even though it is this MOM's 3rd L5 season, LOL. Two weeks till States (no report time yet) and Little Monkey is so excited!! She came home the other day all excited because the HC told her she will be moving Level 6....so she asked me when and I said as soon as L5 is done! In the meantime she has an appt with the orthopedic to get her knee checked out and I have a business trip to Montreal...so hopefully the next 2 weeks will fly by!

Congrats to LM on moving to L6!!!I hope her knee is okay. This season has seemed really long to me too ,luckly my dd's ends this weekand!

Well it'll be fun if only you could spend the whole two weeks in Montreal! Make sure you have a poutine!

Fabulous news for little one, she must be so excited to get to L6, she certainly has earned it. What is the issue with her knee.

I know the weeks are flying by in our house, it always seems that way as the end of school appraoches and summer arrives.

Just think, in two weeks no more stripper music!!!!

Congrats on the move to Level 6!!!! I know what you mean about the long season--DD's states is in 2 weeks as well (May 16th). DD is excited but I think she is used to the cheer season which ends in Mid April. Good luck to LM at States!!!

I am sure she will do great at states! Congrats to her on moving to level 6. She has come so far and gone through a lot. I hope that her knee is okay. :)

Hope the next 2 weeks goes by quicker than expected!!! It's 2 weeks until states for my DD too. Hope the knee is ok...good thing you're having it looked at by a specialist. So exciting to have L6 to look forward too!!! Good luck at states LM!!!!:D

Thanks for the luck!

Her knee has been bothering her on and off for a few months. The pediatrician tested her for Lyme's which came back negative. I think it started during cheering season when she had to do alot of knee drops. My friend who studied sports medicine (never finished her degree) thinks it's tendonitis. The ortho appt is May 14th.

MdGymMom - we just got our report time and LM is also competing on May 16th...11:30 am which is great because the location is a 2 hr drive, last yr we had to stay overnight since she was in the 8:30 session. This time, we can leave in the morning and bring the whole family so she will have more of a cheering section than just me! GL to your dd too!

Good luck! I know LM is gonna do fabulous!!

I totally understand about the long season. It seemed like it was never gonna end this year. But this was also Pixie's first full USAG season. It doesn't help that the end of the season coincides with spring fever, lol!

I hope her little knee is alright and you come out of the appointment with good news. I'll keep my figners crossed for you!!

Congrats to her on the move to level 6--hope she loves it! Level 6 was always a hard level for my girls--not idea why, but they did better in level 5 and then MUCH better in level 7!
