In the last weeks, Dutch ex-gymnast have come forward with stories of abuse, after Athlete A came out, saying this happened in T he Netherlands too. After gymnast testified without saying any names, former coach Beltman has spoken up about how badly he treated gymnast and how sorry he is. He also said he is not the only one and in order to change the system, others must admit they are/were wrong too.

Just now the Dutch Gymnastics Federation has publicized a statement, saying all elite coaches involved in the national team are suspended for as long as the investigation (done by two professors, funded by dutch government) takes. This also means they can not say there will be gymnast representing the Netherlands at the 2020 EC, since they do not know how long it will take.

Does this mean that the gymnasts will have to find new coaches to train with during the period of this investigation? I've seen a couple of different translations, and one implied that they could still train at their regular club with their regular coach, but that there would be no national team training.
