For Region 7, we have always had to qualify for Regionals by getting a 35 (L8) or 34 (L9/10) during States. Given the uncertainty of how State meets (particularly the earlier ones - ie. L8/9/10) will be handled, the Region recently voted that a qualifying score in any sanctioned event during the year would qualify you. Moreover, if you are repeating a level and reached the qualifying score at any sanctioned event during the previous year, then that qualifies you as well. Any other Regions moving forward with similar decisions?

It looks like R8 had a Dec meeting where there wasn't any mention of changes in qualifications, so I figure it is the same as previous years. In R8, you need a 35 for L9 and 10 at state meet. 6/7/8 are by percentage at state meet.

Region 5 wants in person regionals ... but are also preparing in case regionals need to go virtual. They will decide in mid-February. IF they go the virtual route, the states in R5 would also do virtual state meets.
If they do go virtual, there is discussion of ONLY having L9 and L10 regionals and cancelling the other ones ... or prioritizing them:
Level 9 and 10; Level 7 and 8; Division Gold, Platinum, and Diamond; and Level 6 and Silver.
No change in qualifying scores so far.
