Chellsie Memmel (M&M), who withdrew from the Pan American Games team due to shoulder injury, will be replaced by Grace McLaughlin (WOGA)

I think this was a smart decision on her part. This way she can rest up and get that shoulder back to good health.

Very good decison, though still a bit of a sin, I feel bad for her. Hopefully she'll have that shoulder back in good health!

Better to be 100% next year, than to go hard now and have that shoulder be a real problem. --

I just read on the USAG site that she had surgery on Sept. 23 to repair a torn bicep tendon in the right shoulder. The docs feel this happened at Visa. So for now, she is just resting and waiting to start therapy.
Certainly a major set back for her. I believe this is the 2nd surgery on that shoulder.
