Hi, I thought that I would make a new thread about goals. Just copy out the thing below except with your answers:
Age: 13
Level: 6
Ultimate goals this year for... (can be more than one thing)
Vault: Perfect front handspring
Bars: Layout flyaway
Beam: Cartwheel backsault
Floor: Full twists, handspring front layout
Competitions (meets this year): To come 1st AA at 2 comps, to get at least 3 14's or 15's at every competition, to come 1st AA at the Victorian Championships for level 6.
Gymnastics career (any apparatus): Double backs on floor
Easiest thing in gymnastics for you: Pirouettes on floor and beam
Hardest thing in gymnastics for you: Bars (everything on bars)
Improvements you want to make on...
Vault: To get heel drive so that I can block off the vault and land on my feet properly.
Bars: To jump to the high bar with straight legs, shape in swings and casts, glide kips, cast squat ons (in pike).
Beam: To stay completely tight the whole time as to not drop chest and fall off.
Floor: To have really nice leaps with square hips, learn change leaps, have powerful tumbles.
Competitions (Meets): To have strong, solid routines where the judges find it hard to take off marks.
Training: To always put in 100%, not muck around, to just give everything a try and not even think about saying no.
