Ok so I just got new grips and the finger holes are too small. It said to use sandpaper and I did. It took me 2 hours to do 1 hole. Does anyone know any other ways of doing this without hurting the grips? Thanks!

I have found for myself to make it easier is to concentrate on one area and widen that. Initially work around the entire hole and then because my fingers are shaped a little weirs I worked the inside part of the holes and it didn't take too long

We did cut our holes bigger but then filed them to prevent the ripping effect. She has had them for over a year now and no signs of ripping.

I use a knife but I don't cut the grip; I just use the blade and my wrist like I would sandpaper. It's a lot faster and I had my last pair of grips for over a year and the finger holes didn't rip at all. Make sure you leave the holes a little tight when you make them bigger because the leather will stretch a little when you start breaking them in. :)
