Hi! I'm Elizabeth and a mom to a 3 1/2 year old who is in preschool gymnastics. Gymnastics seems to have changed a bit since I was young (or maybe I just don't remember it very well) so I was reading up a bit online and found this site. It's been interesting getting reacquainted with a sport that I loved growing up.
I put my daughter in one of the preschool gym classes at our local gymnastics club at the beginning of April and she's doing great. It's the first activity she's done that she'll actually sit and listen and do what the instructor says. It amazes me! She's doing handstands, rolls, and trying cartwheels (she's pretty close!). She just got promoted to the next preschool class (there are 3)...I was so proud. Hopefully she'll continue enjoying it.
Anyway, I guess that was kind of a long way to say "hi".
