first of all - welcome to CB. I would recommend you go to User CP (top toolbar) and join a user group (gymnast, proud parent, fan ) that applies to you. That will allow you to post in that forum.

Basically browse the forums and threads that interest you. Ask ?'s if you have them. Be friendly and supportive.
