    Old L2 :) 39.00
I collect achievement pins for her, and can't find a 39, so I had to get a 35 and use gold paint pen to turn the 5 into a 9 :)
    Old L3 38.70
    L3 37.375
    L4 36.725

Now, as she's starting optionals, we're hoping to break the 36 mark...

Hahaha, I can do better than ALL of you! DS got an 86 and change at his very first state meet! I think he peaked too early in this sport.

I always seem to talk about one kid or the other, rarely both. Anyway, my YDD does T&T, so no AA, but her highest event scores out of 60 were a 59.2 on tumbling (L3) and a 58.8 on DM (L5). Tramp, she's not gotten over a 24.2 (L5) out of 30.

My daughter has been competing since she was a 6 year old "old" level 4. She's repeated every level, except for level 6. Her highest AA is a hair over 37, she's only scored that 2 times and she likely won't see many more of those either. She's a solid 35-36AA kind of kid, but she works hard and loves gymnastics and that's fine by me!

Last year at Xcel Silver State Meet I got a 37.95. Funny story: we had these blue cards that our coaches wrote each of our scores on after the judges flashed our scores. My coach finished writing each of the event scores and then added them up and wrote the all around score. I was already kind of doing that in my head, but it certainly was nice to have it written down on paper. When the awards ceremony started I did pretty well and then they got to the all around. They started the placings at 37.00. You see, my coach had added up my all around score wrong (I never really did bother to check if she was right) and had written down that I had gotten a 36.95. So when I heard that they started placing all arounds at 37.00 I was pretty bummed that I had just missed the all around placing scores, so I wasn't really listening. That was until they called my name for 4th place all around. All my friends/teammates were all pushing me up towards the stage where the podium was and were telling me just go, because they didn't know how confused I was. I was like, "wait, but my score was a 36.95, I shouldn't have placed?!" But I got up onto the podium and waited for the rest of the places to be given out. My best friend got 1st all around State champion with like a 38.7 all around (Amazing!) and then we saluted and got off and went back to our spots. When I sat back down I looked at my scorecard and re-added up all of my scores in my head. Turns out, my coach was wrong. I really did get a 37.95! Probably one of the best moments! Pride and surprise!!!

Keep in mind that we practice 2.5 hours x 3 days a week… with a 10 minute munchie break each day, so including warm up, stretching, and conditioning, we practice a MAXIMUM of 7 hours a week. Girls do not compete unsafe skills, but they may (and often do) have form issues that we work on during practice.

From 2008-09 season through this season, here are our team's highest scores per level:
    Old L4 - 37.100 … … Old L5 - 36.750 … … Old L6 - 35.225
    L3 - 36.375 … … L4 - 35.800 … … L5 - 34.350
    L6 - 36.675 … … L7 - 36.350 … … L8 - 34.375
    XG - 36.800 … … XP - 33.675 (only ever had 2 girls that competed XP - different seasons).

Due to circumstances beyond our control, OG and YG have RARELY even been able to go to practice the full time all 3 days. Sometimes, they went 3 days, but had to leave 30 minutes early each day. Other times, they were limited to 1 or 2 days a week. Even on those weeks, sometimes they had to leave early. I think in all the years they have been on team, they may have practiced a full week the full time no more than 100 weeks (out of 300+ weeks for OG and 230+ weeks for YG).
HC understands the circumstances and allows it as long as they can compete safely.
YG competed Old L4 (2 years), L3, and XG. Her highest scores were, in order: 32.700, 32.950, and 35.300.

    OG competed Old L4 (2 years)-L6, XG (2 years), and L6 (after 2 years off gym). Her highest scores were: 34.800, 33.500, 31.000, 35.750, and 34.950.

Last season was DD's first time competing. She was L3, and her best AA was 32.975.

She is redoing L3 this coming season and is excited as she has worked hard to master and polish the skills and should see higher scores this time around. :)

Highest score this season L3 was 37.98, she repeated L3 after a similar season last year Hughes AA was 37.82 but her anxiety lead to a gym change and missing months of training and no kip... so L3 again.
