So happy about this, wish it was a city I've never been to, but that would be unlikely in the PST time zone anyways. It's been a long time since it's been in the west coast. This is much easier on time, less expensive, etc., and a beautiful city. Now, just need to get through regionals!

Yay!!!!! Excellent job to all who wrote letters , made calls and made jack ...s of themselves here and everywhere on Social media . You absolutely made a difference

did letters really make a difference? any potential changes to JO qualifications that people have been asking for even more so than change in venue?

Well I can’t say for certain , but I do know it was a huge amount of people complaining . Even some region 5 coaches were not happy about it. So kudos to usag.

Idk! But I think it would be GREAT if they did. We lobbied for it for sure.
Supposedly this was accepted by usag and event specialists can go to nationals. I haven’t read the final decision. The original
Proposal was submitted by Brett wargo. Unless i was close to the Nationals location not sure I’d spend money to travel to do one event or maybe two though.

Oh we would over here. Heck yes! It’s such an honor. Not that my kid is at that level yet. But if she were a specialist, it would definitely be a go. What a highlight of her sport.

I know my daughter's coach would only take a specialist if other teammates were already going.

The Original proposal was shot down for good reason . Way to many negatives to get into . However any alternate will be able to compete at nationals if they won an event at regionals. That is what I heard , so don’t quote me. :)

Coach P is correct.
