Level 8/9 Beam Mount

My DD competed Level 8 last and her beam mount was some kind of swing onto beam, never could find it in the code of points, but I believed she got credit for an A element. This year I heard that beam mounts will have to be directly "out of the code of elements" to get credit. Is this true? Can somebody clarify the beam mount requirements at Level 8/9.

There is no mount requirement, other than to get yourself on the beam. Leg swing over mounts do not get an A this year; all elements must be in the Code to get a value.

No Cs are allowed at 8. I found a GREAT video on youtube that may help you

yea! i found that video last week! it was really cool lots of great ideas
