That and Leg Lifts were my daughter's best "events". There aren't many things left for the 7 yos to be judged on.

Is this for the TOPS testing? I thought the sprint and leg lifts were an important skill? Where do you go to find what the new testing regulations are? I have looked but can only find last years criteria and I heard it changed a lot..
 
Leg lifts are still there, but they eliminated the sprint, bridge, and jump test and added skills for the 8yo+ girls. Not sure what other changes are coming. If you go to the USA Gymnastics website then Women's Artistic you'll see lots of stuff under the TOPS section including the 2012 state testing.
 
hmm, well a reactive plyometric test is probably more useful to gymnastics. still i like a sprint and vert test.
 
There's a meeting in May, I hear, to announce how State testing is going to go? should be interesting to see how it all pans out ...
