Hi,
For a few weeks i have developed a lower back pain on the right side. It is more right above the butt where like a bone or something sticks out a bit so i can't really massage it. It hurts when I run, so vault and floor. It will go away farely quickly but when i come home from gym i feel it. I try to stretch it by just doing pike but i'm not even sure if its something i can stretch.

A year or so ago i had this pain from doing lots of backhandsprings and crooked backwalkovers. I think now the pain is from landing tsuks a bit more on one hip. Basically i think its from doing things with crooked hips but i dont really know. My friends at gym sometimes have this pain so i figure its pretty common. i wonder if anyone knows what it is or why or how it can be prevented??

thanks

I just wanted to say, that even though I do not have an answer for you and I would suggest going to see a Dr. because it may be something completely different.
I had this same problem and no doctor could tell me anything about it.
Does it hurt really bad when you do back walkovers and REALLY bad when you do front walkovers?
Mine did.
But it just kinda went away on it's own, i did ice it often though.

But like I said before I'd suggest a Dr. because you never know with these things.

I think you should take medical treatment immediately. If not it will be worse. Also my mother had a back pain like this; now she was completely recover after treatments.

As others have said, you should see a doctor. I had a pain similar to this for months before I saw one, and it turned out I had a stress fracture... So yeah, definetly see a doc. :)

Hope you're ok though!
