Gymnast
Since November, my gymnastics has been going downhill. I lost a few skills and had to miss a few practices. I think some of the reason I’ve been struggling recently is my mindset. I noticed a negative shift after I started having difficulty with skills I used to have consistently. I’m a huge perfectionist. I had a growth spurt which caused me to lose some skills. I started getting super frustrated and I’m holding back tears for most of my practices. I start crying after every practice. I get very mad at myself and I compare myself to my teammates who are getting way ahead of me. I really love gymnastics and I want to fix my mindset but I’m not sure how. I appreciate any advice!
