MAG Nationals results

Well, we are done...Season is over. Thank goodness! It is so nice to have it done.

D finished yesterday, and finished strong. He landed a high bar dismount! YAY! He tucked it, but apparently did not mean to. He was planning to lay it out. Tuck worked and he stuck. Super exciting. Stuck nearly every floor pass (except his front half..the EASIEST to stick lol). Survived pommel and rings, and then NAILED his pbar routine.

In the end he moved up 6 places in the AA (from 26th-20th; a fall on Thursday kind of killed his AA chances), and then placed 5th on pbars and too BRONZE on floor!!

Now for some rest before training for next season!

I do have a question that I am curious about - Neutral Deductions. I noticed a bunch of -0.300 deductions for Level 9 rings. What does that entail? No swing to handstand, etc.?

Yes. For L9 that is the most common ND, the missing swing to handstand.

It was great to see you guys too! We had a good time. Now, this week is rest week, and finals week...then a trip. so 2 weeks off for that body to recover! then......we see what happens from there!
