what is a open meet? something about level 10s and elite gymnasts competing together.. but by which rules is it scored?

From my understanding, an "Open" meet usually means that there are no age breakdowns. Girls of all ages are competing for the same placements.
Bigger meets sometimes have a Level 10/Open session which allows elites to compete. Level 10 scoring is used.
