practice during vacation?

Our gym doesn't shut down over the holidays, but neither do they insist girls (we don't have a boys team) train if they do go on vacation. The only time I've heard of them suggesting finding a local gym was when one of our optionals went to Thailand for the summer a few years back. (she didn't have much luck finding a gym to work out in there--but didn't miss much and was back to her usual self within a month of returning).

I'd go and not worry about it.
