I read an article the other day and it said the largest gym in the world is 55,000 sq feet, my gosh that must be huge. I was curious how many sq. feet is your gym?

The rec gym my DD was going to was 47,000 sq. ft. but the included a regular gym, cheer gym and facilities upstairs for dance, karate, etc...

The competitive gym associated with the above had 22,000 sq feet of practice space then additional space upstairs.

Geez - you guys have some big gyms. We have a measly 13500 sq. ft.

Geeze.... ours is even smaller at 10,000 square feet!!! No wonder I get frustrated when the rec classes, martial arts, etc. are all going on at the same time!!!

I don't know the size of our gym but it's small. However, we don't have rec teams, cheerleading, etc. We only have team gymnastics and some beginners gymnastics and tumbling classes.

We only have 7000 sq feet. There is often 7 or 8 different classes going on at the same time. Its very crowded but they seems do to a good job at making it work.
