Are there any tips for faster round-off back handspring back handsprings? The floor at my gym is stiff so its harder tumble on. My coaches say that my second back handspring is the same speed as the first so is there any tips to make it faster?

My ds says the same thing about the floor at his gym, so I would be interested in the answer to this also. Thanks for posing the question! I've been telling him to get used to it; it's his floor, but I would love to give him a more helpful suggestion when he complains.

Snapping...snapping...snapping! The best training for a snap is a back handspring. We do lots of RO-BHS-BHS-BHS-BHS-BHS & snap down to 7 BHS & standing 7 BHS.

EDIT: also...shaping...shaping...shaping
