Random thought I had yesterday. What are everyone's 3 top favorite things about gymnastics, and what are everyone's least favorite things about gymnastics? They can be really simple things like being close to your teammates, or a certain skill, or going to meets, or a certain meet, having no time for friends outside of gym....or anything really. So reply....

My top 3 favorite things about gym:

My top 3 favourite tings about gym:
1. My friends
2. Traveling to different destinations with your besties to compete
3. All the fun we have at gym

My 3 least favourite things about gym:
1. Physical and flex
2. All the blood, sweat and tears
3. Fear and being scared
 
My top 3 favorite things about gym:
1) Getting stronger and feeling that strength, especially on bars
2) Pulling off a "perfect" tumbling pass or skill on beam - when your feet just land exactly right on the beam and you do your finish/pose feeling like a million dollars.
3) Fast, high tumbling that just clicks and sends me flying.

My 3 least favorite things about gym:
1) Leg lifts
2) Being called fat by 4th graders
3) Getting made fun of for doing handstands and cartwheels in the hallway.
 
My 3 favorite things about gym:
1) getting new skills
2) being there ALL the time!
3) my coach

My 3 least favorite things about gym:
1) fear
2) pain
3) and FULLS!
 
my favorite:
1)twisting
2)fitness
3)friends

least favorite:
1)coach yelling at me
2)drama
3)beam???
idk it is hard!!!

P.S. but there is a lot more likes than dislikes

I hear ya gymfan. I'm trying to learn to twist too and its really hard and scary. I always get "lost" and landing on my feet...yeah right! Never happens...haha. But I still am gunna keep trying to learn because hopefully one of these days I'll finally get it!
 
My top 3 things about gym I do like(even though there is too many to think of)
1. Flipping and Twisting
2. Floor and Beam
3. All of my friends

Things I dont like

I can onley think of one


I love it too much!!
 
Top Favorite things about gymnastics:

1. Bonding with teammates
2. feeling like you can fly!
3. getting a pretty leo :)

Top least favorite things about gymnastics.

1. BEAM (I have a huge fear)
2. rips from bars
3. Mental blocks :(
 
Favorites
1. The sense of accomplishment when I learn something new or do someting perfect
2. All my best friends are at the gym!
3. Beating boys at arm wrestling

Not so favorite
1. Waking up almost every morning feeling like i am eighty
2. Walking up the stairs after practice feeling like i am eighty
3. Nobody understands what it takes to be a gymnast

3) That epic feeling you get when you get a skill

My 3 least favorite things about gym:
1) Fear, tears, pain
2) Cost
3) Disappointment

1) Learning new skills
2) My own special routines and skills
3) My friends that actual know what skills I'm talking about

My 3 least favorite things about gym:
1) Struggles with weight
2) Form problems
3) My coaches not letting me try all skills
 
dont' worry, gymfan4ever95, i felt the exact same way because i broke my ankle doing a full and didnt work them for a year, then started working them again and kept landing short and hurting my other ankle, but then it clicked, and i competed it for the first time last week and won the meet :)

1. Learning new skills
2. Competing and going to other places to compete
3. Hanging out with my awesome gym buddies

3 least favourites:
1. Having a height disadvantage (i'm 13 and 5"5)
2. Being scared to do flyaways into the pit
3. Getting yelled at constantly by my coach
