I heard today that the deadline to register is Aug 31st? Is this true? Can you register during the year? My dd is switching gyms and will need to register when we move.
Yes, you can register any time you wish. You do need to register before you compete, however. Nearly all memberships expire on 8/31, but you are NOT banned from registering if you do so later.
You could just register her now at her current gym and then once you move and decide on a new gym, I believe all they need to do is go online and change her club affiliation.
