Hi, I'm about to start back handsprings and I would like to know how long did you take to learn them and what difficulties do you have/had while learning?

Also, I'd like you to help me with a new skill: I have no idea how to do a valdez pirouette and I really need it. Plz help...:)

for backhandsprings, it took me about 6 months to learn, but i wasn't as dedicated and only went to the gym once or week or less, so depending on the amount of time you spend in the gym, you could learn it very quickly. it alwayss helped me to do them down the wedge/cheese, and on the pacman, because learn the correct body positioning. you need to really make sure that you keep your arms strong when they go on the ground. one of my hardest things to do was get over the fear of going back.when you're doing them on the floor, just know that as long as you keep your body strong, and thing of the positioning you learned during the drills, you'll do just fine. i hope this helped!
