A side somi is always done in that position and it's not a deduction. A front or back salto done in that position is an execution deduction in would be .1 or .3 in elite WAG and .1 or .2 in JO depending how severe it is. When you're looking at dismounts though sometimes from the audience we're seeing it straight on whereas the judges are seeing it from the side and it looks nowhere as bad from that angle.
